Terms & Conditions – Dubai Ballooning

Welcome to Dubai Ballooning. By booking a flight or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

General Terms All bookings are subject to availability and weather conditions. By participating in a Dubai Ballooning experience, you agree to follow all pilot and crew instructions at all times to ensure your safety and the safety of others. Failure to comply may result in removal from the activity without refund.
All flights are conducted under the regulations of the UAE Civil Aviation Authority, and our professional pilots maintain the highest standards of safety and operation.
Itineraries are correct at the time of publishing but may differ slightly from those shown in marketing materials or brochures. Occasionally, itineraries change as we make improvements based on guest feedback, safety updates, or operational requirements. In such cases, suitable alternatives will be provided wherever possible.
Itineraries may vary or attractions may be substituted due to seasonal changes, weather extremes, natural events, conservation regulations, or operational adjustments.

Booking Policy All rates are quoted in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirhams) and are valid for flight programs commencing from 1st September to 31st May each year. Prices are subject to change at the discretion of the company.
Bookings are confirmed only after full payment is received. Guests under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
We accept payments online via Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards. Guests using the website who are under 18 shall not transact independently. The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and merchant policies.
Refunds (where applicable) will be processed only through the original payment method. Dubai Ballooning does not offer or provide services to any OFAC-sanctioned countries, in accordance with UAE law.
Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Weather & Safety Policy All flights are weather-dependent and may be delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled due to factors such as high winds, low visibility, or extreme temperatures.
If your hot air balloon flight in Dubai is cancelled due to weather or technical reasons, guests will be offered either:
A rescheduled flight on the next available date, or
A full refund if rescheduling is not possible.
Safety is our highest priority, and the Pilot-in-Command has complete authority over all flight-related decisions.

Passenger Requirements & Health Restrictions To ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers, the following requirements apply:
Minimum age: 5 years
Maximum age: 80 years
Maximum weight per passenger: 120 kg (passengers exceeding this limit may be charged for two seats)
Guests must be physically able to climb into and out of the basket and stand unaided for at least one hour.

Passengers we are unable to fly include: Pregnant women (only first trimester may be considered at guest’s risk)
Children under 5 years of age
Guests over 80 years of age
Individuals who have had major surgery or broken bones within the past 6 months
Anyone with chronic neck, back, or heart conditions
Guests with severe motion sickness, a fear of heights, or mobility restrictions
Guests with mental or physical disabilities that could compromise flight safety
All passengers must sign a mandatory health declaration form confirming they meet the above conditions.

Fitness, Safety & Conduct Our tours require a reasonable level of fitness. Guests should be able to safely enter and exit the balloon basket. Our ground crew will assist where needed, but participation is at each guest’s own risk.
Guests must respect the authority of the Pilot and Crew at all times. Dubai Ballooning reserves the right to refuse service or remove any passenger whose behavior is deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive.
Any physical or verbal threats towards our staff or other guests will result in immediate removal from the activity without refund.

Travel Insurance We strongly recommend that all guests purchase adequate travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances such as illness, injury, or travel delays that prevent participation. Dubai Ballooning can provide supporting documentation for insurance claims upon request.
If a flight cannot operate due to inclement weather, a full refund or alternate booking date will be offered. However, no refunds will be provided for reasonable delays or itinerary adjustments resulting from weather, safety, or technical issues.

Minimum Guest Numbers Certain balloon flights and desert activities require a minimum number of participants to operate. If minimum numbers are not met, guests will be offered an alternative package or a full refund.

What’s Included in Your Booking Your Dubai Ballooning experience includes:
Transfers to and from the take-off site by 4×4 vehicle (depending on package type)
Approximately one-hour hot air balloon flight (weather permitting)
Breakfast at our luxury desert camp
Desert activities such as camel rides, quad biking, or horse riding (depending on your chosen package)
An E-Flight Certificate or commemorative gift
Packages available: Standard, Deluxe, Premium, and Signature
All balloon flights are shared experiences, with baskets accommodating 12–20 passengers depending on the balloon type and package.

Pick-up & Drop-off Pickup and drop-off times are approximate and may vary due to weather, traffic, or operational factors. Confirmed pickup times will be communicated via call or WhatsApp the evening before your flight (by 8:30 PM).

Failure to appear at the scheduled pickup location will be treated as a no-show, and the booking will be charged in full.
Guests must provide accurate hotel names, room numbers, and contact details to ensure smooth pickup coordination.

Liability & Risk Acknowledgement While Dubai Ballooning takes every precaution to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, certain risks are inherent in adventure activities and cannot be eliminated without altering their unique character.
By participating, you acknowledge and accept that you do so voluntarily and at your own risk. Dubai Ballooning is not liable for:
Loss or damage to personal belongings.
Delays, weather interruptions, or mechanical issues
Injuries resulting from failure to follow safety instructions or pre-existing health conditions
Guests agree to take all prudent measures for their own safety, including the proper use of safety devices and following all pilot or crew directions.

Photography, Drones & Privacy Due to UAE aviation regulations, drones are strictly prohibited during balloon flights and desert activities.
Guests consent that photos or videos may be taken during the experience by Dubai Ballooning staff or fellow guests. By participating, you grant Dubai Ballooning and its affiliates a royalty-free, worldwide license to use such images for marketing, promotions, and other lawful purposes without additional compensation.

Vehicle & Onboard Policy Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited inside all Dubai Ballooning vehicles and balloons, in compliance with UAE law.
Some vehicles are equipped with dashcam technology for safety, insurance, and training purposes. Recordings may be used to verify service quality or resolve disputes.

Meals & Special Requirements We prioritize fresh, high-quality food at our desert camp. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available upon request at the time of booking. Please notify our team in advance to accommodate dietary needs.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
